Here is Kahri singing away. She also will no longer say Thank You. She will say Your Welcome instead. It is quite funny.

STRIKE!
We are in a unique situation here. Our School District's support staff is on strike for higher wages. That means all the secretaries, custodians, cafeteria workers, and aids aren't working. We were told by the Superintendent that we would still have school , but with a delayed start and early release. As of tomorrow we will be on day 3 of school being cancelled. They decided that it wouldn't work without the support staff so they cancelled school. AHHHHH! This also means we now have to make up all the days that we miss. So E has been home from school going crazy. J's preshcool has started back up, but he has been sick. So all of us have been home trying to come up with things to do.
Both sides aren't talking to each other to resolve the issue. There is a school board meeting tonight so hopefully something will be decided. The support staff are also picketting at all the schools. This wouldn't be too bad accept we live a half block from the elementary. So the kids are constantly looking out the window at them. Does anyone else think this is crazy?

Two Hour Delay
Here in Danville if we get any snow our school goes on a two hour delay. Apparently the roads get icy and the school buses won't drive on that. We are used to Rochester where the only time we have a delay or school is cancelled is if we are getting 12+ inches of snow during the day. It snowed yesterday. So this morning we had a two hour delay. I wish I had known that before the kids woke up!
