First Experiment (Kind of)
E had her first Science Fair at the begining of March. She wanted to do one on the Solar System. We spent a late night typing and gluing, but it turned out okay. Nathan says next year she has to do and actual experiment for the fair :)

March Madness
February ended with a lovely snow storm. We had drifting so in some places it was almost bare, and in others I shoveled over a foot!
Nathan installed a laminate floor in our kitchen at the begining of March. It was time consuming, but not too difficult. It turned out very nice. My only complant is that is shows the dirt more than our old floor, which meansI get to mop more!

You better watch out, She's four!
K celebrated her 4th birthday on Thursday. We had a fun filled day with a small party with friends and then a family party that night.
K is such a little cutie. She loves to wear dresses and refuses to wear pants for the most part. She loves her dress ups and would wear them 24 7 if I let her. She also loves to do anything J does, so she will play with his knex and magnetex for hours. She is also quite the talker. It's hard to get her to pause and talk quieter. K is a joy in our family and we have had fun the last 4 years! We love you K!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET GIRL!
The Party.
E decided that she wanted a cooking birthday party, so we found some really cute ideas on Family Fun. We had 9 girls over and had so much fun! We started by decorating Chef hats that E and I had made earlier. Then we made some pizza. Then they played charades using food items. Some of the ideas were VERY creative! We ate the pizzas and salad on a stick and then went in for present opening. After that we had cake and ice cream. E had a lot of fun and I think the party was a success.

Our Birthday Girl.
This one it 9 years old today. She is a joy in our lives and is a wonderful big sister. It has been fun watching her grow and become the person that she is. She has always been outgoing and friendly. She loves to read, and play the piano. She loves school! She hates it when she misses a day. She always has a smile and is willing to play with her younger siblings. Happy Birthday EDG! We LOVE you!

February and what I have been up too.
February started out all right. I decided it was time for a hair cut and some color. I went to a salon just up the street from us (walking through the 6 inches of snow that had just fallen) and had them cut and highlight my hair. I love it!
I also spent time painting and doing crafts. Here are two of my projects. I had a friend cut the letters out for me last year and finally got around to painting them. I had fun and really like the way they turned out!
What we did in January. A photo essay.
Our year started out just right with a lot of Chocolate. Nathan gave me a chocolate fountain for Christmas and we had fun trying it out. Of course some showed it more than others :)
We also decided this year that we would exercise more. H decided that she need to wear her "exercise shoes" and have a water bottle just like Mom.
We were able to play in snow. This is the last of the first snowman of the year. We now have a foot of snow outside to play in and we will get more this week!

H decided to start her new years goals early and decided she wanted to be potty trained. At least she like the "panties" idea and will put on any that she can find.

We had a couple days of heavy rain so we put aside our winter coats and donned our rain coats for the 50 degree weather!
