He's here!

 A. W. Gee is here!  Born December 21 at 5:16pm.  8lbs 11oz 22 inches long.   A. gave us a run for our money the last few weeks of pregnancy.  He was doing somersaults every other day inside.  He was breech so they brought me in for an inversion (where they attempt to manually turn him from the outside) ,but after they had the IV in we discovered that he had flipped.  They sent me home.  The day before I was scheduled to be induced he was breech again.   I went in the day I was supposed to be induced and he was laying sideways.  After a successful inversion and 5 hours of labor A. entered the world.  He came out with the cord wrapped twice around the neck and then harnessed around his body!  The Doctor on call said he had never seen a cord wrapped that way before.
We are all VERY glad that he made it safely into the world.  We came home from the hospital late on the 23, just in time for Christmas.   He is a wonderful baby and is being very loved at home!

Our house will be getting a little more crowded this Christmas.   We will be having a little boy join our family at the end of December.   Everyone is thrilled and can't wait for the little guy to get here.  It has been 7 years since I had a little boy.  J is VERY excited to finally have a baby brother even though they will be so far apart in age.

Ocean City here we come!

On Saturday we decided to head to the beach.  Not just any beach, but it had to be at the ocean.  We made plans and headed out early in the morning for Ocean City, NJ.   It took us a lot longer to get there then planned (an extra 2 hours of traffic) but we had fun.   We were able to spend about 5 1/2 hours on the beach just playing.    Nathan, E, and J, loved playing in the waves.   H was content to sit on my lap and eventually let Nathan take her to sit by the water.  K just loved playing in the sand.  We didn't have time to really walk down the boardwalk, but it looked like it would have been a lot of fun with many stores and restaurants.

We had a fun trip. Next time (if we decided to do it again) we will be going down on a weekday when there will be less traffic :)

She did what?

A couple weeks ago we were headed out the door for a BBQ with friends.  Nathan and I were a little distracted getting things out to the car, and discovered we didn't know where H was.  This is where we found her.  At the top of the stairs painting our walls with mascara.  This was after she painted a nice beard on her face.   She is such a little rascal.

Quick Trip

At the end of June we made a quick trip out to Utah and Idaho.  Nathan had a conference in SLC, and his parents were getting home from their mission.  We also headed out because Nathan's Grandpa was really sick and we wanted to come and see him one last time.  Unfortunately Nathan's Grandpa passed away while we were on our drive, but we were able to be there for the funeral and to see his Grandma.

  

On our Trip out there was a lot of this going on in the back seat.  Total craziness.

E did a  lot of this while we were driving.  We made it in 2 1/2 days (not recommended) and she finished about 4 books.

We pulled into my sister's house in Orem Utah late Sunday night.  Early Monday morning (7am)  H ended up with one of these after taking a dive over the arm of the couch.  She had it on for 3 weeks.  We were hoping it would slow her down some, or at least make her a little more cautious, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.  She was as rambunctious as usual.

We were very excited to see Nathan's parents.  They had been gone for 3 years and it was fun to see them as they first pulled up.  We had all 22 grandchildren waiting in front for them.  It was also fun to watch all 6 of the grown up kids watching down the road for their parents.  I was glad Nathan was there to participate.

The funeral was really good. It was very interested to hear all about Grandpa Shirley's life and what he accomplished.   We attended the Rexburg 4th of July parade and made it to the Idaho Falls fireworks.  We had a lot of family time and the children loved playing with their cousins.   Overall it was a good trip (even with most of us getting sick, and H breaking her arm).  We loved seeing family, and made it to some great events.

Long Time No Blog.

It's August already and the summer if flying by.   Here is a little taste of how our summer started.

Nathan turned 32 at the beginning of June.  We celebrated with yummy food and a delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter concoction.

We had our annual kick off the summer BBQ in June.  We had about 50 people over for that.   Nathan made his delicious pulled pork and brisket.  The only picture I ended up with is of H and how she looked after it was over.   A little dirty and very defiant. 

Nathan and E had a daddy daughter get together right after Father's Day.  The dads had to to the daughters hair with a specific amount of things.  They won MOST FASHIONABLE.  They both had a lot of fun.

10 Years

Ten years ago  Nathan and I were married.    We were sealed together in the Boise Idaho LDS Temple. 

 I am so excited to spend eternity with my Best Friend!
